Barbecue Grill" for July of 4th theme!
The clinicians used this activity to target adjectives in phrases as the client flipped the steak he described the illustrations. It was successful and went smoothly. He enjoyed it by imitating the sound effects of the "grill" during the activity. All materials bought at the Target dollar section.

Oven & Watering Can
The clinician made an oven out of a cardboard box and covered it with wrapping paper. A hole was cut to represent a window in order to view the cookies (which contained stimulus words) in the oven as they baked. The oven opened and closed.....awesome idea!
The watering container was used during an activity targeting the vocalic r phoneme. The water drops which were attached with curling ribbon to the container contained the stimulus words. Each drop was cut after the target word was produced correctly.

Opposites Book
The clinicians created a book of opposites. This type of book may be created targeting different concepts. Below is an example of the fast/slow pages. The rabbit and turtle are attached to the page with Velcro for easy removal.
Swat the Bug
The clinicians created this activity to target the "ch" phoneme in the initial position of words. A sticky fly swatter was used to collect the bug picture cards that contained the stimulus picture on the back side.
Get the Monkeys Off the Trees
The clinicians created a board game to target the /g/ phoneme in the initial position of words. The game board was a picture of trees with bananas and had velcro in order to attach the monkeys which contained the stimulus pictures. The game proved to be interactive.
Cookie Monster
The student clinicians created a cookie monster using a tri-fold and black bag (see picture #1). They drew and painted a cookie monster face (with an opening for the mouth) and attached it to the front of the tri-fold. The black pouch was attached to the back side of the cardboard to hold the cookies. The cookies had the stimulus pictures attached to the backside. The clinicians utilized this activity to target the phonological process of stopping with a 3:11 year old child.
